If there’s one thing I wish I knew more about these days, it’s what is going on in the Middle East, specifically Iraq, involving ISIS. As an uninformed white male my brain immediately goes to Archer and how their organization was called I.S.I.S. and no, that’s not it at all.Read More
Yesterday on Facebook I said that I wouldn’t tell people to vote in the 2014 Ontario Election. It was up to them. The reason is because the Diddy style “VOTE OR DIE” rhetoric does absolutely nothing to influence someone disenchanted with the current political climate to make them feel their vote counts. Looking at the poll numbers it seems I’m correct.
According to Steve Paikin, about 19% of voters gave the Ontario Liberals 100% of the power because voter turnout was at 51.7%. We’re not doing enough to convince people they should vote. Then again, we hardly ever have.Read More
I don’t smoke. I still have stress and anxiety but I don’t smoke. I come from a household of smokers and all of them look to light up when things are getting stressful for them. Since I was 10 years old, I’ve taken walks and bike rides to ease stress. All the way up to today if I’m feeling like I need a breather and the weather isn’t too awful, I’ll leave the house and take a stroll. I don’t come home, or at least don’t turn around to go home until I feel better. Like until I’ve organized my head to the best of my ability. This has kept me from cracking at many points in my life, and I feel it also kept me from an addiction. That time alone isn’t something many people know but it has still defined my life.Read More

There’s a current rumour skittering across the floor of the Internet like a mutated roach that Bradley Cooper could be a potential replacement for Harrison Ford in a fifth Indiana Jones film if Ford, Spielberg and Lucas don’t get something completed quick and go into production with it.Read More
It’s rare for a death to be celebrated by so many, but when in your life you’ve spent much of it celebrating the death of people you never met? It isn’t surprising for the same to happen to you.
My life doesn’t function without videogames nearby.
When I was born, the house already had an Atari 2600. I once tried to feed it purple Kool-Aid. Turns out that was proof that when you’re at the age where people don’t actually describe your age in years but months? You’re actually who warning labels were made for.Read More
This winter is frustrating.
In a lot of ways I feel like I shouldn’t complain too much. Last winter was a serious low point in my life. Coming off of a nervous breakdown, depression and being derailed from my one year college program anything is better. And things are better. I’m now employed at a very good job that I’m pretty good at (but could be better) and I’m finally on Ritalin medication to help fix the A.D.H.D. that has been an issue for a large part of my life undiagnosed and untreated. There’s a lot of progress after turning 29 compared to after turning 28.Read More
